Welcome to IMVGDB

Gun fans have IMFDB and car fans have IMCDb. This one is for the games.

Every entry records a sighting: a game on screen, the hardware running it and the TV showing it. Each game, console and TV gets its own page, so you can see every film that put an NES on a wood-grain console set, or every show that shot an arcade full of Galaga cabinets.

Accuracy is half the fun. When a show dubs Atari bleeps over NES footage, or hands an actor a controller that won’t plug into the console on screen, the entry says so.

Each entry lists the published sources it was checked against. Accuracy badges stay “Unverified” until someone checks the footage itself. If you know a scene, submit a sighting.
